WELCOME TO OUR NORTH GEORGIA BARN WEDDING VENUE
The Barn at Tatum Acres is a beautifully rustic white barn that has been converted into a fully-equipped wedding venue, complete with three rooms for getting ready, a living room, kitchen and multiple bathrooms. Designed by owner Lynda Tatum and constructed using trees from the farm, the space is truly unique and a dynamic combination of rustic and modern.
THE BARN
The open layout lends itself to special events, and many people choose to incorporate the downstairs kitchen, bathroom and living room area into their event as well.
All four sides of the building have a door that leads to other spaces. The main entrance door leads to a large area that is perfect for setting up tables, chairs, musical equipment and dance floor. This is also where the fire pit is. One side entrance opens up to a covered sitting porch with an outdoor fireplace. The other is identical in space, but has a large stone smoker for cooking barbecue. The final door leads into the stables.
THE STABLES
Adjacent to the barn are the stables, with four windows and two sliding barn doors that open to covered additional seating areas and the surrounding landscape. Some brides use this area to set up a buffet table and smaller food stations or bars. Others have arranged tables for their guests to eat with a canopy of white lights twinkling above. Some couples have even used the space as a dance floor, complete with a band or DJ. It also works well for a small wedding ceremony, or as a rain plan in the case of inclement weather.
